2017 AIDS Academic Conference

On September 26, 2017, AIDS Academic Conference was held in Guangzhou. Over 2,000 experts and scholars as well as representatives from all works of like came together in Guangzhou Dong Fang Hotel to learn recent news, achievements and progresses on AIDS and AIDS-related disease prevention and control, and further analyze possible trends and challenges. This is the fourth conference held by Chinese Association of STD and AIDS Prevention and Control in consecutive years, and the annual AIDS academic conference co-organized by the Foundation for the second time, also the most spectacular academic exchange event in the field of Chinese AIDS prevention and control this year. The Chairman of the Foundation, Dr. Leong Che-hung highly acknowledged the progresses in Chinese AIDS prevention and control in his speech. He hoped that, by accelerating the exchanges and cooperation among the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, the process of AIDS prevention and control in Greater China would be advanced, and the goal of ending AIDS proposed by the UN could be realized on an early date.
